My dad- and the Lord's faithfulness

Where to start: yesterday morning we went to see my dad's new primary. He is excellent and was right on the situation which we were so thankful for. He immediately had my dad admitted to Stormont. When we arrived at Stormont we got him settled and the staff were wonderful all day. We had a pulmonologist come in and talk with my dad. We need him to come off the blood thinners so biopsy can be done. There are to diseases they are leaning toward but we will see. The biopsy is a critical factor at this point for diagnosis and treatment options.

He is comfortable and they are watching him carefully. I am so thankful for this but what we are all thankful for more then anything is the LORD. He walks before us and controls all things. What a privledge to know our Savior goes before us and nothing is an accident when it comes to life if we are in His will.

Psalm 146:5

Happy is he who has the God of Jacobfor his help, Whose hope is in the Lord!!!

vs 6b Who keeps truth forever.

I have to say this am as I sit here thinking about my dad and health that it is precious to know we are held in His loving arms, He alone is the blessed controller of life and everything is a gift from Him.

I am thankful for this promise. I do not know or understand how people walk through this life w/o Him and His promises.

The other thing I was thinking is this earth is not our home. We are on a pilgrimage through and have all eternity to rest and this life is but a moment for our service to the Lord. Let's all work together and run this race well for His glory alone.
