I have to say or write that I do miss being able to talk but going to chapel today was such a blessing.
To have so many people come and give us love and encouragement was needed and we are so thankful. Thankful for the people in our life that love us and really go through things with us. That will communicate even when I can not talk and make me still feel apart of things.
I woke up this am and can not get hardly anything out. I am not sure how to feel about this. Sometimes trapped but mostly trying to just focus on what the Lord's ultimate desire is. I have to admit that it is hard for Micah to go back to work for me because he is a great comfort and help. I just really do not want to be w/o him but know the Lord can take care of us.
Today Steve Price spoke on the fact that even if we do not have the tools we would pick God will use us where we are and that is for His glory even more. That is truly encouraging to me. The Lord can use this for His glory whether it stays or goes away.
Please pray for wisdom for us, the doctor, what we should do if this lasts awhile, creative ways to parent w/o words to little ones. The Lord knows how all of this should go.
It is time for me to trust and obey.
Since I could not say it today: I love all of you guys and we are so very thankful for each and everyone of you. SO good to be a family for not just now but all eternity.....

God is faithful
Last night at the Hospital the Lord was with us. He had me get some medicine and then we got to come home. I am going to do home health here and meds here. I am so very glad to be home. Please pray for wisdom to know where to go from here for the doctor.
We left the hospital last night: my mom's car would not start so security jumped it. The car was acting strange. The lights would dim and ac would as well. Anyway we pulled over in this shopping mall and the car died. Well wouldn't you know we were right in front of a bar a grill. My mom called my dad and triple a and arranged everything. So we had not eaten and were both tired..... My mom wanted hot tea. I said it is a bar mom. ( very slowly) hahahaha. Well we went in and they had hot tea..... (mind you it was the strongest she had ever tasted(not enough water to tea bag ratio) and was in a huge plastic cup but it was hot and tea)water and although the kitchen was closed they made us food. There was only five other people watching the chiefs and everyone was very kind. It was more like a quiet coffee shop. I was so thankful to have the Lord take care of us and not be stranded on I-70. The tow truck came and he gave us a ride with the car too topeka. We got in at around 1 AM I think.
We are so thankful for the Lord who is faithful at all times. We are resting in Him alone and waiting for him to fix this or not. Either way we know it is His will.
My speech was some better late last night but this am it is slow and hard again. But that is ok. It does not take away from my prayers.... We can do that w/o a word.
Thanks to you all for praying and please continue.
My kiddos were very happy I was home this am. :)

His will not mine.....
I write this to voice what is going on. I write to give the Lord the glory in all things whether well or not. I write for prayer for my kids who do not understand and for Micah as he is having to explain things to them.
Monday night into Tuesday I was up and started going numb on my right side. It gradually went over to my left by morning. Then around noon I just could not talk well. Really slow and drawn out. Yesterday it was worse and today I can barely get anything out. Strange thing is I can think through things but not say them.
We had an MRI yesterday and there is no stroke. Praise the Lord!!!! Doctor Brooks did and exam and I have strength but not alot of balance when eyes are closed. I am not sure what will happen today but one thing I know is my Savior is holding me in His arms and comforting me and my family.
Please pray for my kids. They are confused and scared. They want to be close but are leery of my inability to talk. If it keeps up it will be a good time to learn sign language..... :) have to look at the bright side.
I told Micah that at least we can not fight since I can not talk well enough or quick enough. He and i laughed at that one.
Please know that we appreciate your prayers and need them alot. If I do not answer the phone it is not a lack of wanting to talk with you guys but I am not able.
I missed you guys last night at prayer meeting and look forward to seeing you all Sunday.
I am so thankful to be a child of the living God and know that I belong to Him. His will is perfect and that is enough!!!

Chicago or bust
Hey all!!! Just wanted to let you know that we are headed out this am to Chicago. We are going to stay and see my good friend Jamie and her family. It will be fun. have not seen her since I have been sick!!!!! On Tuesday we are headed to Cincinatti to see Micah's mom. We are very excited and are looking forward to it. It has been awhile and it should be great. She has alot planned for us or for Micah and the kids depending on how I do.
I ask for prayer that we can glorify the Lord. That my health will be well so that I can at least do some things :). We will be back sometime around the 10th or 11th.
I will post pics and a report then. Have a blessed week!!!!
